Damn, that was FUN! I was concerned it might be getting old, but it turns out it NEVER gets old. I remember thinking to myself a few weeks back:
“OK, What do we know about Dobrinski and his warped mind from previous encounters and years of exposing myself to his vibe – (But only in small doses, and only over a long period to time – I’m no i…[Read more]

I am registered! My son, Garrett, will be my navigator. We will be fresh off of a Track Day at Summit Point the previous weekend, so you can find us at the apexes! (My rig will have my latest mod – an IV pole!)

I think he was trying to show his buddy how it would cross a ditch and he could zip around in the woods. There is a very tricky off camber trail that starts about 50 ft further up the road – he either didn’t see it or thought he was super Jeeper. I used it to get in front of him to set up the winch. The dry leaves were a Godsend – as long as…[Read more]

Yeah, he was barefoot. Guess he didn’t want to mess up his bright white Nike’s.
It was a simple winch out forward, but he had spent an hour trying to back out. It was a lesson in departure angles. Jeep put their frame tow hooks under the bumper, which, of course, make them worthless in this situation. Had they been ON the bumper, I’d have had…[Read more]

This idiot got stuck 30 feet from my driveway….I didn’t mind pulling him out, but I hated driving 10 miles to pressure wash the mud off!

Fawn, me and 2 mini-Crosby's will be there. ….BTW, i just sold my boat yesterday and bought a 6×12 covered trailer today …think it'll be needed for anything on this trip?
Is the saying true? The two best days of owning a boat is the day you buy it and the day you sell it? 😀
Tell me about it – I got three boats!!!R

Rick -I assumed we were doing it on the ocean side, since that's right in front of the house. Is there a benefit to doing it soundside instead? Also, we should be back from the fishing charter by noon – is that early enough to help with the heavy lifting?
Even if you are 2 or 3 getting back, that will be fine. You might think to call us once you…[Read more]

I see Friday being a fairly busy day for me….hopefully, a couple of Bruisers will not be fishing and can help out. We'll need to dig a pit, line it with stone, gather seaweed, stack the fire, pick up the seafood, etc. I am devoting the day to it and Ben said he had a place lined up for the stone…we should pick that up on Thursday. Ho…[Read more]

So Doug's coming by on Monday to pick them up – we can have up to 20 of them (or however many Doug can fit), plus Mike's firewood. I'd recommend using the firewood for the clambake (as it'll make better coals), and the palates for the bonfire(s).
Guys,We need a bonfire for the clam bake! Aren't we doing them at the same time?R
